Gwen Farrell Adair’s family is mourning the sudden loss of the actress, who passed away at the age of 93.

In a heartfelt statement, her son confirmed that she died peacefully on Thursday, April 30.

He also launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of Gwen’s funeral and memorial services.

“Today, our family is heartbroken to share the passing of Gwen Farrell Adair, who lived a life full of strength, character, and quiet resilience,” the statement read.

Honoring her life, the family added, “Her journey was anything but ordinary. She had a brief moment on screen, but her true legacy was built in the real world through her strength, her presence, and the way she carried herself every single day.”

The cause of Gwen’s death has not been disclosed, as the family did not mention any illness or prior diagnosis.

The late actress was best known for her role in the hit war comedy-drama MASH*, where she portrayed a nurse in 26 episodes.

She also appeared in several films, including Coffy, Earthquake, Billy Jack Goes to Washington, Black Gunn, and Soylent Green.
