American actor and acting coach Corey Parker has died at the age of 60 following a battle with cancer. He passed away in Memphis, leaving behind a legacy in both film and television that spanned several decades.

Born in New York City, Parker began performing at a very young age. He first appeared in television commercials at just four years old, an early start that eventually led him to pursue a professional acting career. He later attended the High School of Performing Arts, where he further developed his craft before training with the renowned Actors Studio and Ensemble Studio Theatre.
During the 1980s and 1990s, Parker built a steady career in film and television. Among his notable film appearances were roles in the horror sequel Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning, the stage adaptation Biloxi Blues, and the romantic drama White Palace.
On television, he appeared in popular series including Thirtysomething, Love Boat: The Next Wave, and Nashville. Parker also starred alongside Téa Leoni in the 1992 Fox sitcom Flying Blind. In addition, he had a recurring role as Josh, one of Grace Adler’s boyfriends, in the hit NBC comedy Will & Grace.
